Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ForkFeed ("ForkFeed", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ForkFeed.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use ForkFeed. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your Account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Sign in with accurate information, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse ForkFeed. In particular, you will not:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Import, upload, or store content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems.
• Use the import features in a way that violates the terms of the source platform (for example, a website or video service).

Your Content

You retain ownership of the recipes, photos, notes, and other content you add to ForkFeed. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the app and provide its features to you (such as syncing and import processing).

You are responsible for the content you add and for ensuring you have the rights to use it.

Recipe Import & Third-Party Content

ForkFeed lets you import recipes from links, text, and images using automated and AI-based extraction. Imported recipes come from sources you choose, and you are responsible for respecting the rights and terms of those sources.

Automated extraction may be incomplete or inaccurate. ForkFeed does not guarantee that any imported recipe, ingredient, quantity, time, or instruction is correct.

Food, Health & Allergen Disclaimer

ForkFeed is provided for general informational and organizational purposes only. We do not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Recipes, nutrition estimates, and allergen information may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Always verify ingredients and preparation yourself — especially if you or anyone you cook for has allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary or medical needs. You use recipes and cook at your own risk.

Subscriptions & Payments

ForkFeed may offer optional paid plans ("ForkFeed Pro"). If you purchase a subscription, it is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

Intellectual Property

The ForkFeed app, including its name, design, logos, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our branding or software except the limited right to use the app as intended.

Service Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ForkFeed at any time. We aim to keep the app available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

ForkFeed is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app.

Termination

You may stop using ForkFeed and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the app in a way that could harm others or the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of ForkFeed after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
